Butters lived a very sheltered life prior to coming to NEBTR and subsequently is nervous and guarded around strangers and new situations. <br/><br/><br/><br/>He would do well with a structured and calm adult only home who can be understanding of his need for slow introduction and trust building. For the right person this boy can be a fun loving and loyal companion. Butters lives to play ball and lives to run and play fetch in the yard. Although his exposure to other dogs was limited, since being in his foster home he has developed relationships with many dogs large and small. <br/><br/><br/><br/>Butters ideal home would be in a country or quiet suburban neighborhood with a secure fenced yard for play and exercise, with one or two experienced adults who can manage a dog with plenty of drive. Another dog in the home is possible though not required.
