Butters

Welcome to rescue, Butters!

Butters is a 3.5-year-old brown and white Newfie boy being fostered in central Michigan.

This big love bug has been settling in beautifully in his foster home. Once he got the lay of the land, he's decided couches and face kisses are pretty great. He's also a big fan of human beds and full contact snuggling. Are you looking for a 100+ lb weighted blanket? Butters thinks yes. He's a very polite gentleman on walks, he thinks pulling his human down is rather rude so he's happy to amble near you. He will sit nicely when folks of all ages want to say hello to him. He is also developing quite the bestie relationship with his Bernese neighbor dog. Butters has very droopy jowls and is a big drooler, so his family should stock up on bibs!

Butters has some catching up to do on routine vetting and will be neutered prior to adoption. His foster is working on his beauty routine to get his coat back into shape. He loves the yard kiddie pool and drinking from the hose, so spa days are quite fun! We are looking forward to learning more about this goofy guy. Stay tuned as we get to know Butters!

It's never too soon to submit an application, you only need to apply once to be considered for any dog who is a match for your home. Application screening can take several weeks dependent upon volunteer availability.

Read more about our application-screening and placement process here https://nationalnewfoundlandrescue.com/adoption-application-faqs/

** Want to send this dog a gift? When you purchase a bib or bandana from our store with the code 4FOSTER they will receive it. The rescue receives the profit from the sale and the foster dog receives a gift!

When purchasing for a specific dog, please include that note in the comments.

Or, purchase one for yourself!

Link for Bibs

https://nationalnewfoundlandrescue.com/product-category/bib/

Link for Bandanas

https://nationalnewfoundlandrescue.com/product-category/bandanas/
