He loves to play and explore, but he's also perfectly happy to settle down for a cozy nap and some cuddles. Butterfinger is active, curious, smart, food motivated, and eager to please, making him a quick learner who is always ready to discover something new. He's a social butterfly who is excited to greet new friends and loves getting attention from the people around him. Butterfinger gets along great with other dogs and is especially wonderful at reading their cues. He has been great about giving his foster sibling space when they need it and is learning how to match the energy levels and boundaries of the dogs around him. Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy

Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
