Buttercup Pending’s FAQs

What is Shingilana Rescued Felines’s adoption process?

Our process involves an application, contract, and donation. Usually we like to start off with a phone interview to determine whether the animal a person is interested in is the right one for their home and vice versa. We will often conduct a home visit as well. Please note that we make appointments for adoption visits and discuss adoption donations by phone only. In the case of multiple applications for the same animal, we will choose the best home. We reserve the right to refuse an application for any reason. We hope that you will find the right animal for your home here or at another rescue operation. SHINGILANA actually means little lion. Cats have often been referred to as the tamest of wild animals, and the wildest of tame animals. We hope to find one that will fit into your home! So contact us
