Buttercup's Story

Buttercup was found as a stray in a rural area we help in south Texas. The person who found her reached out to our volunteer to see if we could help. A foster agreed to bring Buttercup into her home, so we were able to save her. She has been in our care for 6 weeks, and she completed her veterinary care. Now, we hope that she’ll find a great forever home.

Buttercup is a very snuggly girl. She still likes to be held like a puppy, and she would be happy to be your couch buddy. She is being fostered with children 7 and older. She loves them and is happy to play and even lets them snuggle her into her bed. Buttercup is great with other dogs, walks well on a leash and likes the water too.

We think Buttercup is a Catahoula and Lab mix. She weighs 36 pounds, and she is 6 months old.

Buttercup has been spayed, vaccinated for DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She is also heartworm negative.

Buttercup can arrive in Washington on 12/6. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt

We respond to all inquiries.
