Meet Buttercup, a 3-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is ready to be your new best friend.<br/><br/>The Good Stuff:<br/><br/>- Pro Trainee: She knows sit, stay, roll over, high five, spin, and more! She's house-trained, kennel-trained, and has excellent recall.<br/><br/>- Family Favorite: Buttercup is incredible with kids and currently lives peacefully with a cat (who definitely runs the house).<br/><br/>- Affection Level 10/10: She's "floppy," loves to be picked up, gives actual hugs, and lives for neck scratches.<br/><br/>- Outdoor Enthusiast: She loves soccer balls, splashing in puddles, and long sniffs in the grass.<br/><br/>Her "Work in Progress":<br/>Buttercup is highly reactive to other dogs on a leash. It's not aggression-she just gets frustrated because she wants to say hi right now-but it means she barks and lunges when she sees a furry neighbor. Because of this, she's looking for a home outside of the busy city.<br/><br/>Ideal Home:<br/> A house with a fenced yard or some land.<br/> A "no-other-dogs" household (or an experienced owner who can manage her toy/food guarding around other pets).<br/> Someone who loves a smart, food-motivated dog and doesn't mind a bit of extra training on walks.<br/><br/>Buttercup is a loyal, happy girl who just needs the right environment to thrive.
