Hi, I’m Butterball—named after the turkey because I’m round, cuddly, and everyone wants me at Thanksgiving dinner (but please don’t baste me). I came in with a case of ringworm, but don’t worry… it’s treatable, just like my addiction to belly rubs and midnight snack attacks. San Saba County Friends of Animals's Adoption Policy

Prospective adopters are asked to complete an adoption application. The application is reviewed by our adoptions committee. We typically check vet and personal references and confirm landlord permission, if applicable. If the adoption is approved, SSCFOA and the adopter enter into an adoption contract. An adoption fee of $50 to $100 is required.. Visits are by appointment only because we do not have a physical facility.
