Meet 6-month-old Butterfly, or “Butter,” as her foster family calls her.<br/><br/>Butter is pure sweetness wrapped up in the cutest puppy package. This gentle, laid-back girl loves nothing more than being close to her people, whether she’s soaking up the sunshine outside, curled up beside you on the couch, or sneaking in kisses whenever she gets the chance. She has a calm, loving personality and quickly becomes everyone’s little shadow.<br/><br/>Butter is being fostered with other dogs and cats and has been incredibly sweet with everyone. She especially enjoys following her foster dog sibling around and learning from her.<br/><br/>Butter rides wonderfully in the car, knows basic commands, and walks very well on a leash. She’s a smart girl who learns routines quickly and continues to blossom every day.<br/><br/>Butter does have hip dysplasia, and The Minnis Sanctuary is committed to funding the surgery recommended by her veterinary team to help improve her long-term comfort and quality of life. Thankfully, Butter doesn’t let it slow her down one bit — she still loves to play, explore, snuggle, and shower her people with kisses just like any happy puppy.<br/><br/>Butter is looking for her forever family to love on her through recovery and cheer her on while she heals.
