Butter

Butter is a 4-month-old mix breed of 100% cutie! She is predicted to be around 50lbs. When you feel her fur, you will understand how this beauty got her name… She is as soft as Butter! If you are considering adopting Butter please be prepared to be stopped by individuals every 10-15 feet as she is constantly being admired and complemented. I hope you don’t mind playing second fiddle to this sweetheart. Butter was abandoned with her siblings at 8 weeks old in Mexico and due to the extreme heat, she was transported up to Montana rescue by a wonderful volunteer. What we can tell you about Butter is she is extremely smart, easy to train, and has done wonderful learning the routine. She has been great at kennel training and has been learning about potty training/routine and is doing awesome. Her adopter must know she is still a baby and training, dedication, and patience are a must. She needs continued socialization to ensure a well-rounded pup. She currently lives with two little kiddos in rescue and has done great, but older children would be best as she has a tendency to knock down the littles out of excitement. She has also been introduced to cats and livestock. She continues to interact with other dogs in rescue. Butter is very affectionate and loves visiting with people. She would love to be with her person all the time if she could choose. Butter is a ‘wild woman!’ as she has a lot of energy which is perfect for someone looking for a companion. Butter is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. Homeownership and a fenced yard are preferred. This rescue will not adopt out to individuals with unaltered domestic pets.
