Butler's Story

Butler is a 1yearold Lab mix who has inherited all the best qualities of his dad, Rocket - plus a few puppy quirks of his own. He's neutered, vetted, and growing into a wonderful young dog who just needs the right family to guide him the rest of the way.
Butler does all the good things Rocket does: he's crate trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys routine, and settles nicely once he knows he's safe. He's a little more protective at first, but he warms up quickly with proper introductions and becomes affectionate and loyal in no time.
He's still very much a puppy - he loves to chew and explore - so he'll thrive with someone who can give him structure, consistency, and appropriate outlets for his energy. Butler does great with other dogs, but he is not a match for cats, as he finds them a little too interesting.
What makes Butler special is his mix of sweetness and alertness. He wants to be close to his people, he learns quickly, and he's eager to please. With a bit of guidance, he's going to grow into an exceptional companion.
His foster knows him well and is happy to answer any questions - Butler is a good boy with a bright future, just waiting for the right home to help him shine.
