Butch's Story

Meet the boisterous Butch!

Butch may be small, but his larger-than-life personality is sure to impress. He was brought to us originally by a Good Samaritan who found him wandering around the city streets and is now looking for a home to call his own! Butch is truly one of a kind. He loves kids. We think that he thinks he is one and they match their energy very well. Also not to mention, Biggest. Cuddle Bug. Ever. Tired of having personal space? Perfect. Want to get endless kisses that may have slobber attached? Butch said hi perfect. This guy is working on his reactivity toward other dogs and will need someone who is willing to provide a little extra help with Butch's manners in social settings, but he has been loving getting rewarded with treats when he is working on it, and we see a lot of potential in this young man. In return, Butch will give you all the love in the world and unlimited kisses! He truly has a heart of gold, just needs a forever home where he can show that!

Thinking about adding a friend to your family? This sweet guy is currently available for both adoption and foster and would love to meet you! Interesting in fostering? Email foster@anticruelty.org to let the foster team know! If you would like to meet Butch and potentially adopt, stop by our Adoption Center at 510 N. LaSalle to meet them and all of their friends. We offer same-day adoptions, free parking, and our team will guide you through every step of the adoption or foster process.
