Meet Butch Cassidy <br/>Butch has been with his foster mom since day one. Born with a cleft lip and palate, he started with tube feedings, then a special bottle-and now he's thriving.<br/>Raised by his human (and as an only child ), Butch is incredibly social and pretty sure he's one of us. He's sweet, busy, and loves being part of everything.<br/>We've attached his DNA results-Butch is currently smaller than expected based on his breeds, but he could still grow into a large dog.<br/>He's working on puppy basics like no biting and potty training (pads when it's cold), and will need continued structure and consistency.<br/> Butch is scheduled for cleft palate surgery at the University of Illinois on July 2, 2026 (may move sooner) and won't be available for adoption until medically cleared.<br/>We would consider a foster-to-adopt home, with his current foster mom handling post-op recovery.
