Due to this trauma, he is learning what safety means and feels like. He is slow to warm up to humans, but instant friends with canines. Due to this, it will be imperative for Butch to get a forever home with a dog who can help him feel comfortable.

Butch has been making huge strides in his foster home! There has been no food aggression. He was the perfect gentleman to a tiny kitten his foster watched over night. He has been perfect with a consistent potty schedule. He sleeps in bed with his foster family every night and snores like a freight train.

Butch still gets spooked by fast movement but then realizes he is safe and comes right back for reassuring scritches on the chin!

If you have patience and a dog looking for a friend, apply today!
