Tails is a sweet, intelligent, and gentle 5‐month‐old poodle/lab mix with a soft black coat and a look that hints at a little schnauzer charm. He currently weighs 28 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium dog around 50 lbs.<br/><br/>Tails has a thoughtful, observant nature -- he likes to take in his surroundings before deciding what to do next. Once he feels comfortable, his playful, loving personality comes forward. He's a little shy with new people at first, but he will go up to greet them, and he warms up quickly with kindness and patience.<br/><br/>This smart boy is food‐motivated and eager to learn. His foster mom says he picked up crate training right away and can sleep through the night without accidents. He's still working on full housebreaking, but he's off to a great start. Tails is also just beginning to learn how to walk on a leash and is doing well with gentle guidance.<br/><br/>He currently does not chase cats and seems comfortable around people of all ages.
