Buster in IA's Story

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home.

Hi, I’m Buster! I’m a 3-year-old, 22-pound sweetheart currently being fostered in Des Moines, IA. I’m looking for a loving new home after my owner sadly passed away, and I’m ready to find my next family.

I can be a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’m a total velcro dog—I’ll stick by your side wherever you go. I absolutely love curling up in your lap, rocking cozy sweaters, and learning all about how fun life as a dog can be. I do great with my foster dog siblings and enjoy quietly watching and learning from them.

I’m fully potty trained and getting the hang of leash walking, since I was previously used to an invisible fence. We’re taking it slow and discovering how exciting walks and little adventures can be! Toys are still new to me, but with a little encouragement, I’m starting to see how fun they might be. The perfect family would be someone that is home often and willing to have patience as I will need to learn a new routine and how to trust my new family.

If you’re searching for a gentle, loyal companion and a built-in space heater to snuggle with at night, I just might be your perfect match. I love sleeping next to my foster parents and hope my forever family will let me share the bed too.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained?
