Buster's Story

Buster was adopted from our shelter in 2021 as a puppy. He was returned to us when his owner had to move. Buster is very shy and will need a time to bond with his new family. He is good with other friendly dogs. He is also better with women than men. He would do best in a home without small children and with a fenced yard.

Buster had FHO surgery in July 2025 and is working on healing his leg. He should do fine in the future but may favor his rear right leg.

If you’re interested in meeting Buster, please submit an application on our website at https://www.rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption and our adoption coordinator will reach out to you after we complete the vet check. Please fill out the application as thorough as possible as any issues with the application will cause a delay. Please be patient with us as we are all volunteers.
