Buster is a handsome liver and tan Australian Shepherd mix. This March, he will be 6 years old...From the time he was a pup, Buster has been a devoted guardian and loyal companion. All his life, he has known love...Until now...Now Buster's life consists of fear and loneliness. He sits in his kennel awaiting the return of his "Mommy." Buster doesn't understand that when she kissed him good-bye, she was telling him that she would see him again when he joined her at The Bridge.<br/>Buster is a reserved and dignified boy. He is initially cautious around strangers and a little timid with men. But, with a little sweet talking, Buster sheds his regal facade and shows you the goofy pup he truly is. Devotion, loyalty, protector, playmate, companion, walking partner and even comic relief...All this rolled up into one 45 lb., fine looking package...What more could you be seeking?<br/>Buster is good with cats and mellow dogs, like himself. He has had little exposure to small children and due to his protective nature, would be best placed in a home with adults.
