Buster

Buster is our little shy guy. He came in with his sister, Mila. Buster is playful with other dogs, but is weary of humans. He likes to put on a show, wagging his tail and pouncing all around, but if you get too close to him he lays down or finds a corner to curl in. We have been working on his confidence and day-by-day he is coming out of his shell. Buster's instinct is to lay on the ground when he meets a new dog. To bust his confidence, we let him meet Starky who is patient, gentle, and sweet. Buster and Starky got along really well! Starky let Buster sniff him as much as he wanted, and Buster got a little more confidence. ? <br/><br/>We also introduced Buster and another adoptable puppy, Blondie, who hit it off right away. Buster and Blondie enjoyed playtime out in the play yard together playing chase.<br/><br/><br/>Buster is working on leash training. Being a shy guy, it is hard for him to get confidence with something new right away. Luckily, Buster is very food motivated and loves walking on leash if means he gets a bite of wet food. Each day he gets better on the leash and walks a little further.<br/><br/>Buster would be a great addition to a home with children, and animals.
