Buster's Story

Buster has been waiting patiently for his turn.
As one of our longest residents, he's spent a lot of time at the shelter, but his story started long before that. Buster and his sister, Amber, came to us from a difficult situation where they were taught to be on guard, to protect themselves, and to survive rather than simply be loved.
But that was never who Buster truly was.
From the moment he began receiving patience, kindness, and care, his true personality started to shine. The walls he once needed slowly came down, replaced by trust, curiosity, and a whole lot of love.
Today, Buster is a completely different dog. He's friendly, affectionate, and full of life. He's made plenty of friends here, both human and canine, and he greets new faces with a wagging tail and an open heart. It's clear that all he ever needed was the chance to feel safe and cared for.
Buster has so much love to give, and he gives it freely.
After waiting so long, he's more than ready for a home of his own, a place where he can finally settle in, be part of a family, and share his bright, loving spirit every single day.
All he needs now is someone to give him that chance.
