Buster's Story

Meet Buster!
This handsome boy is a 1 year old Chihuahua mix. He was brought to us alongside his buddy (and potentially his sister) Stella. He is sweet and sassy, with an adorable shy side.
Buster takes a moment to warm up to new people. When he first came here he was pretty overwhelmed, and we had to take it slow with him. Now that he's been given some time to settle in she is doing much better, but she will require a patient adopter that is willing to build trust with him. Buster has lived with another small dog and briefly met a large dog, and did well with both. He was introduced to our office cats and did not really seem interested in them, and was more afraid than anything. We do not know how he reacts to children at this time. With him being on the timid side we would recommend against him going to a home with small children that might push his boundaries.
Once Buster is comfortable around you, you really see his personality shine! This boy is so funny, and loves to chase us around the backyard. He is also very curious, and loves to watch the world go by. His previous owner said Buster had a habit of darting through doors to try to run off, so his owner will need to be careful this doesn't happen. He will also need a secure yard to make sure he isn't running away on one of his adventures.
Buster is just a sweetheart and he deserves that perfect forever home! He has received his first round of vaccinations and is officially ready to meet his new family. If you think Buster could be the pooch for you, stop by and meet him today!
