Meet Burt is the best
Burt is just the man! He is truly a fabulous dog rescued from St Frances Shelter in South Carolina. Our understanding is that once hunters no longer need the animal or he/she isnt hunting properly they leave them in the woods to fend for themselves :(
Burt is estimated to be about 10 years old, 42 pounds and fully vetted.
Burt loves to play with dogs and kids. He doesn’t mind cats. He runs up smiling for pets and his missing bottom teeth pop out adding extra character to this gentle elder.
Burts days consist of playing and napping. He is a wonderful family companion. Burt does have a tendency to dig so a fenced yard is preferred with a family who will oversee him at all times. He was so happy to show his foster dad how he got into the neighbors yard :) since he does so well with cats, dogs and kids, those applications will be considered first.
Burt will counter surf so basic training classes are highly recommended.
