Burt's Story

Hi there! My name's Burt, and if you're looking for a big ol' cuddlebug with a heart the size of Texas, I think we just became best friends.

I'm 92 pounds of pure sweetness, 2 years young, and I've got a tail that wags like it's powered by joy itself. I've been told I'm one of the best boys around other dogs, and not to toot my own horn (okay, maybe just a little!), but I take that compliment seriously. Big dogs, little dogs, wild pups, chill seniors, I get along with everyone. I know how to play gently, give space when it's needed, and keep the peace like a four-legged diplomat. One time I shared a kennel with a goofy cattle dog who didn't quite know what "personal space" meant... and guess what? I took it all in stride. That's just how I roll.

Kids? Love 'em. Cats? No problem. I walk like a gentleman on a leash, and yep - I'm fully house-trained. I've even been living with a Great Dane buddy who makes me look small (which is hard to do), and we're total pals.

If you're looking for a gentle giant who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your all-around best friend, then I'm your guy. Come meet me, and let's start our next chapter together.

With love (and a happy tongue flop),
Burt

Burt is located in Erie County, Pennsylvania, with an adoption fee of $275.
