Burlington's Story

Do you remember our recent "stray" arrival who came to us after being found abandoned in a dog crate near the BNSF railroad line? <br/>Look at this boys glow up! He has been with us for a few weeks now and is finally ready for his forever home. We have named him "Burlington" and he is approximately 5-6 months old and catching up on much needed human attention, snuggles and food. Burlington appears dog and cat friendly. He is timid at first but warms up nicely to new people. He does unfortunately have some staining of his white markings from being urine soaked wherever he came from. This will get better with time, love, and more baths. We are assuming he is not quite housetrained at this time, but is willing to please so with work in a home we think he will be potty trained quickly. His adoption fee is $175 and he will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter, is microchipped, vaccinated, and current on monthly preventatives. Please call or email with questions: 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov. OR, stop by the shelter during open business hours to meet him! Bandana photos are new, last photo on the post is the day he arrived in the crate he was abandoned in.
