Bunny's Story
Meet Bunny!

Bunny is a 2.5-year-old, 50lb Husky mix with a big heart and an eagerness to learn. She was named Bunny because she was abandoned on Easter Day—tied outside a business in an ant pile beside an empty food bowl.

Despite that heartbreaking beginning, Bunny is sweet, gentle, and still eager to trust people. She loves attention, is very food motivated, and enjoys training, making her a fun and rewarding companion. She does well in a crate and, while she is not fully house-trained yet, she is making good progress and should continue to improve with a consistent routine. She also loves spending time outside.

Bunny is playful, affectionate, and has been wonderful for grooming. She may occasionally pull her feet away during handling, but she has never shown any aggression and is easy to work with.

With other dogs, Bunny is still building her confidence. She is not dog aggressive, but she can be a little sassy with more confident or dominant dogs. She has been doing well with slow, structured introductions and continues to make excellent progress. She would do best with an adopter willing to continue her socialization and introduce her thoughtfully to new canine friends.

Bunny is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and heartworm negative. She has already survived being left behind. Now she is ready to become part of a family, learn what it feels like to truly belong, and trust that she will never be abandoned again.

If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion with a wonderful personality and so much potential, Bunny may be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption Fee: $350
Transport available for an additional fee.

To apply:
Please fill out an application at www.ssrsaves.com or email info@ssrsaves.com and an adoption coordinator will contact you.

Our rescue is based in Houston, Texas, but we work with foster homes across multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters.
