Bunnie's Story

Meet Bunnie! Bunnie and her brother Jelly Roll were found as roaming strays on a street commonly known for dumping dogs. Unfortunately owners were never found. We believe they are retriever mixes! Bunnie is approx 10-11 months old.

Bunnie is dog friendly and gets along with all of the dogs in her foster home. We do not adopt siblings together but she would love a home with another dog. She also needs a fenced in yard and prefers to be outside the majority of time, of course while coming in throughout the day and sleeping inside at night but she is a big lover of the outdoors! She is still a puppy and high energy so she needs adopters that are understanding of all the exercise she needs.

Bunnie is shy at first with new people she meets. We think she probably wasn’t around people often and we don’t have any idea of how long she was dumped for and fending for herself. She does warm up and once she knows you she is extremely friendly. We would recommend a home with children over 10 years old.

Bunnie is fully vetted- up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She is available locally for meet and greets. She can also be adopted out of state to approved adopters- a transport fee would apply in addition to her adoption fee.
