Bunker's Story

Bunker is new to Blue River Pet Rescue and has settled in well with his foster family. He had a rough life prior to coming to us as a very thin stray with extremely matted fur full of burrs. After a haircut and regular meals, we are happy to say Bunker has become a loving and happy boy and is gaining weight nicely. He is making good progress on his house training, knows sit, and loves to be cuddled, and learning to play with toys. He loves car rides and will sleep in his crate all night after protesting that he is not yet ready for bed. Bunker is shy around men but warms up with the help of treats and gentle petting. While Bunker is a very good boy, we do not recommend a home with young children.
