He is very nervous of people and will need someone with experience with a scared dog. Because of his fear, he looks for escape routes and will need a secure yard. He would also do best if there was another confident dog already in your family. Bumper has learned that he likes to be petted and loves to sit next to you on a fuzzy blanket. Good with cats and dogs, but because of his fear level, should not be around children (but he doesn't bite). He has wonderful potential to be your new best friend with time. Hi there!  So you've decided a furry friend is just what you need?  Please apply on our website, https://bigbonescaninerescue.com to get the ball rolling.  You'll be contacted for a home visit to verify your home is an optimal situation for the pup(s) you're interested in.  At any point, you can make arrangements to meet the dogs you are considering.  Some are in foster care and some are at our facility in Windsor. Big Bones Canine Rescue is located in Windsor, CO.  We have dogs at our shelter location as well as many dogs in foster care all over the state.  We do require appointments to come visit dogs.  Please call or text 970.310.3616 or email us at bigbonesrescue@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
