Bummocks's Story
12/26/2025
Bummocks is a mixed breed boy that is approximatley 9 weeks old. He currently weighs 7 pounds and thus will likely be a medium to large sized dog when fully grown. We are guessing he has some aussie in him as well based on current size and markings. Bummocks is an absolutely sweet boy that loves to play. He is already doing well with understanding the concept of housetraing and doing amazingly well with his overnight crate training.
This little guy has a special superpower called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (or CH for short). It's just a special way of saying part of his brain (the cerebellum) didn't fully develop, which handles balance and coordination. But here's the best part- it doesn't slow down his joy one bit! He zooms around with the biggest puppy energy- chasing toys, playing like a champ, and wiggling his way straight into your heart. Sure, he adds a hilarious sway to his step (think happy drunk sailor vibes). He might zigzag instead of waling a straight line, or occasionally flop over in the cutest tumble. But he pops right back up with a big grin and tail way because to him, he's just a normal puppy living his best life! CH is totally non-progressive (it won't get worse), is painless, and doesn't affect his smarts or lifespan. These "wobbly" pups adapt amazingly and lead full, adventure filled lives. All Bummocks needs is a loving home that's mindful of a few simple things: baby gates for stairs, supervision around edges of pools, and maybe some rugs for extra grip on slippery floors. Other than that? Let him be the playful, cuddly puppy he was born to be!!

Bummocks is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Bummocks will be adopted with a neuter agreement due to his size and age and the reimbursement fee will be discussed with our adoption coordinator. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.

You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.

All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
