Meet Bumbles!
Bumbles is an approx 9-10 mth old Tennessee Mountain Cur who previously belonged to someone who loved him dearly but was unable to care for Bumbles. Bumbles developed a severe case of demodex (non contagious) mange and a secondary bacterial skin infection. He was underweight and in such bad condition that his face was extremely painful and a very bloody, oozing mess. It has taken 6 weeks of intense vet care and medications,baths and TLC but Bumbles has turned a corner and is looking GREAT.
We will consider an experienced adopter or a 4 week foster-to-adopt period with local adopters to complete his follow up care.
Bumbles has had limited contact with other dogs while in our care. He can get a bit overexcited with them still. He can also be a bit scared of new people but is a silly, snuggly puppy with those he trusts.
He would benefit from a family willing to help get him acclimated and start working on the training and socialization that he has missed out on. He promises to reward your time and love with his loyalty. He has *so* much potential that just has not been realized. The last 6 weeks he has already started to blossom. Bumbles loves peanut butter and being told how handsome he is.
Bumbles' adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, vet care to date and heartworm testing (negative). If you are looking to give a deserving dog a chance, Bumbles is your guy!
