Bullet's Story
Meet Bullet! 🩶

Bullet is an approximately 1-year-old, medium-sized gray pittie weighing around 50 pounds with a face that says “I would absolutely like to play fetch for the next 14 consecutive hours.”

This handsome guy has already been through more than any young dog should. Thankfully, those days are behind him now because Bullet is fully healed, healthy, and ready to live the spoiled dog life he deserves.

And trust us... this boy is READY.

Bullet is the perfect combination of playful and giant baby. One minute he’s sprinting after a tennis ball like he’s training for the Puppy Olympics, and the next he’s melting directly onto his humans like a 50-pound weighted blanket with zero concept of personal space.

He absolutely adores people and approaches life like everyone he meets is his new best friend. He’s affectionate, goofy, cuddly, and full of personality. His ideal day includes fetch, snacks, chewing on a bone near his humans, more fetch, and then passing out dramatically for cuddle time.

Bullet is both crate trained and potty trained, knows “sit,” and takes treats gently. He can get a little mouthy when excited during play, but he redirects easily and is eager to learn. He’s still young and figuring out manners, so continued training and structure will help him grow into an incredible adult dog.

He enjoys other dogs and loves to play, but Bullet’s play style is enthusiastic to say the least. He would do best either as the only dog soaking up all the attention or with a playful, tolerant dog friend who can handle his rough-and-rowdy energy while helping teach him appropriate boundaries and corrections.

Bullet’s perfect home would be with someone committed to continuing his training, giving him outlets for his energy, and embracing his goofy pittie personality. Whether that’s adventures outside or couch potato cuddles afterward, Bullet is just happy being part of the action.

This sweet boy has already overcome a rough start. Now he’s looking for a forever family who will give him the safe, happy life he’s been waiting for.

And if you happen to own a tennis ball launcher... he’d probably like to submit an application immediately.

Apply at rescueapittie.org!
Est DOB: 5/04/25
