Bugs - COME MEET

Bugs will be at Open House events on Saturday, July 25th from 10 am to noon and, if still available, on Monday, July 27th, from 3-5 pm. Both events will be held at our shelter: 106 Adams St in Medfield, MA 02052. All are welcome to attend the event, but dog-selection priority is give to approved applicants. So, please submit an electronic application at this link today:<br/> https://www.foreverhomerescue.org/about<br/><br/>Once your application is approved, you will also have the option to set up a private meeting with Bugs outside of the open house.<br/><br/><br/>Bugs is an adorable, floppy-eared Spaniel mix who weighs about 35 pounds at an estimated 6 months of age. She was found as a stray in Arkansas in early 2026 and, since then, settled in nicely to her AR-based foster home. Her favorite activities are long walks and playing with the other dogs in her house. Now that Bugs has traveled up to Massachusetts, her new MA-based foster mom says she is great with cats and wonderful with dogs. Bugs also does very well in her crate at night and whenever her foster mom is out.<br/><br/>As a relatively young puppy, Bugs will need a forever family with the time and patience to continue her training. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.<br/><br/>If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.<br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.<br/>Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.<br/>Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.<br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.<br/>Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.<br/>Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.<br/><br/>Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
