Bug's Story
“Hi, I’m Bug... your future best friend, adventure buddy, and cuddle companion.”

From the heart of a tiny black‑and‑white girl with a big future ahead of her

Hi there! My name is Bug, and yes—I really am as cute as my name suggests. I’m just a little over 3 months old, black and white, soft and wiggly, and full of all the sweetness and curiosity you’d expect from a puppy who’s discovering the world one pawstep at a time.

I’m growing up in a foster home right now, and let me tell you... it’s a busy place. My foster mom has lots of dogs, lots of cats, and even a young boy who thinks I’m pretty fun. That means I’m getting exposed to all kinds of sights, sounds, and experiences. Big dogs, little dogs, playful cats, sleepy cats, kid energy, household noises—you name it, I’m learning about it. I’m becoming a confident, well-rounded little girl who knows how to fit into a lively home.

One of my proudest accomplishments? I’m learning how to use a doggie door! That means I’m already well on my way to being house trained by the time I meet my forever family. I’m a smart cookie—my foster mom says I pick things up quickly and try hard to do the right thing. I just love making people happy.

My mom (the dog kind, not the human kind) looks like she might be an Australian shepherd mix with long black fur. I didn’t get her fluffy coat, though—mine is shorter, sleeker, and super easy to care for. I’ve got the cutest markings, too. When I look up at you with my bright puppy eyes, you’ll understand why everyone who meets me melts a little.

I may be small now—just a tiny thing at a little over 3 months—but I’ve got a big personality. I love exploring, playing, learning, and snuggling. I’m brave when I need to be, gentle when it matters, and silly pretty much all the time. I’m the kind of puppy who will follow you around the house, curl up next to you during quiet moments, and bounce around with joy when you’re ready for fun.

I’ve already had a great start in life thanks to my foster family. I’m current on my vaccinations, I’ve been spayed, and I’m microchipped, so I’ll never get lost again. I’m healthy, happy, and ready to grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be—with you.

I don’t know yet what kind of home I’ll end up in, but I do know what I’m hoping for. I want a family who will love me, teach me, guide me, and laugh with me. A family who sees me not just as a puppy, but as a future best friend. I’m good with dogs, I’m used to cats, and I’ve been around kids—so I’m pretty flexible. Mostly, I just want someone who will let me be part of their life and their heart.

If you think you might be that person... If you think your home might be the place where I grow up... If you think your couch might be the one I nap on...

Then I’d really love to meet you.

All you have to do is send an email to mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment. I’ll be waiting with my tail wagging, my ears perked, and my whole little heart ready to love you.

Love, Bug

PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
