Bug's Story

Bug is the kind of puppy that makes everyone smile. This little guy is 3–4 months old, about 9 lbs, and full of sweetness and curiosity. With his long legs and growing puppy body, we think he may end up around 20 lbs when full grown, but for now he’s just a tiny bundle of joy.

We rescued Bug from Devore Animal Shelter, where he had arrived as a stray all alone. Thankfully he didn’t stay there long and now he’s thriving in foster care.

Bug is very friendly and loves just about everyone he meets. He’s dog-friendly, playful, and absolutely adores his big foster brother, who he looks to for guidance and confidence. He would likely do great in a home with another friendly dog, but he also just loves people and attention.

Like any young puppy, Bug is still learning about the world. He’s currently working on crate training and potty training and is already doing really well. He’s also off to a great start on leash and enjoys exploring with his people.

Bug will need a family ready for all the joys and responsibilities of raising a puppy — continued training, patience, structure, and lots of love as he grows into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
