Buffy's Story

**You can meet Buffy in person at Neshaminy Creek Brewery in Dublin this Saturday 2/21 from 1-4 pm!**

Introducing Buffy! 🥰 She's estimated to be a year old, and is spayed and HW-neg. We're assuming she's at least part Bassett Hound based on her shape.

Her foster mom has this to say:
"Buffy is one of the most unique looking dogs with her long body and short, stubby, ridiculously cute legs. She also has a calm, laid-back temperament to go along with her amazing looks. Her tail doesn’t stop wagging when you’re talking to her, and all she wants is to be loved. Her story was she had been starved and supposedly thrown from a car and run over, but despite that, she’s incredibly sweet and absolutely loves people.

Buffy rode great in the car and has been fantastic on a leash. She’s also been wonderful with crate training and enjoys spending time in there on her own. She’s been crated for a few work days and overnight for 8 hours and was perfect. Housebreaking has been incredibly easy with her, she goes pretty much as soon as she’s let outside. She’ll zoom around the yard for a few minutes after and then is happy to curl up near you or in her bed. We’ve also left her alone uncrated for short periods and had no issues. She also has been super quiet so far, she doesn’t seem interested in barking at all things going on outside like our dogs do. We’ve been taking intros with our dogs slowly since she seemed unsure when she came to us, but we know she’s gotten along great with dogs in the past. Buffy’s still opening up as we get to know her more, but she’s such a gentle soul. This low maintenance queen would love a family that can give her the amazing life she deserves."

To apply for Buffy, fill out an application at our website SalfidRescue.org/apply

Salfid Rescue
Souderton PA
PA KL# 18374
