Buddy's Story

Adoptable in: MA

Good with dogs: Yes

Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes

Good with kids: Yes (13+)

Crate trained: Yes

House trained: Yes

Buddy is a sweet-natured and loyal pup who is looking for a patient and loving family to call his own. He is a medium energy guy who enjoys a walk around the neighborhood followed by a nap in his crate.

Buddy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and politely observes other pups on his neighborhood walks. A canine companion is not a requirement, he would also be content as an only dog. Buddy is happiest when running and stretching his legs or chewing on his favorite toys. He has not been around cats, but with his gentle disposition he would most likely coexist with a feline sibling. Buddy has met children and does best with children over the age of thirteen who can read his cues.

He is a smart boy who is fully crate and house trained. Buddy sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and can be crated during the work day with a tasty treat. He is extremely food motivated and eager to please. He enjoys going for walks around the city and would make a wonderful hiking companion. Buddy is looking for a family to continue his training and provide him with structure and boundaries to thrive. He looks to his human for reassurance and would benefit from someone who will advocate for him and his best interests. He has so much love to give and will thrive with his forever family.

Is Buddy your newest co-pilot?

*Buddy is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program for prescription food.*

Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.
