Buddy's Story
Buddy 4-Year-Old Husky/Shepherd Mix Looking for a Farm or Ranch Home

Buddy is a 4-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix looking for a new home where he can have space to run and be part of daily life. I found Buddy abandoned near my property in Jupiter, CA during a snowstorm about three years ago, and he’s been a loyal, sweet companion ever since.

Buddy is about 85 pounds, neutered, healthy, and has completed training. He knows basic commands including sit, down, and wait, and walks nicely on a leash. He absolutely loves people and is very friendly with other dogs he was especially gentle and patient with my bulldog, Mouse, when he was a puppy.
(Video in comments)

Buddy truly thrives around other dogs and enjoys being part of a group. He would do especially well in a home with other friendly dogs or in an environment where he can be part of a small dog community.

Buddy does mark in the house, so he currently lives comfortably in my backyard and garage. Because of this, he would do best in a home with space, ideally a farm, ranch, or rural property where he can be outdoors and have room to move. Despite his husky mix background, Buddy does not try to escape or roam and has been very content staying within his home environment.

He has a playful personality and enjoys chasing squirrels, exploring, and being around people. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friendly, active dog who enjoys the outdoors.

My priority is finding Buddy a safe, loving, and appropriate home where he can thrive. I am happy to answer questions and want to make sure it’s the right fit for both Buddy and his new family.

If you are interested in buddy:
Find our application at ebarr.org
Fill it out and return it to animalrescue@ebarr.org
