Im about 10 years young, weigh around 70 pounds, and my people say Im one of the sweetest souls youll ever meet. Life changed for me unexpectedly when my owner passed away, but a kind-hearted friend stepped in and promised to help me find a loving home. Im holding onto that promise <br/><br/>Im a gentle, affectionate boy who truly loves people. No warm-up period neededits instant friendship with me! Im what youd call a social butterfly. I enjoy meeting new people, making dog friends, and soaking up all the love I can get.<br/><br/>A little about me:<br/><br/>* I enjoy nice, easy walks (up to a mile these daysgo me!)<br/>* Im currently living with other dogs and do well with them<br/>* Ive lived with cats beforevery curious, but respectful<br/>* Im not a big barker, but I do like to chat a little<br/>* I LOVE sunshine... give me a warm spot and Im a happy guy <br/>* And yes... I am absolutely a couch cuddler<br/><br/>Ive made incredible progress with my mobility since being in my foster home. Im on medications and supplements that help keep me comfortable, and Im feeling so much better. I can handle a few stairs now, but a home without lots of stairs (or with a ramp) would be ideal for me.<br/><br/>Because Im a mature gentleman, Id do best in a calm home without toddlers or very young children. I just prefer a quieter environment where I can relax and feel secure. A home with another mellow, sweet senior dog like me? That could be really nice.<br/><br/>I dont need a super active lifestylebut I do need someone who will keep me moving with daily walks and include me in their life. I dont want to be alone for long hours... Ive been through a lot, and I just want to be near my people.<br/><br/>I do have some decreased night vision (pretty common for us seniors), and Ill need a family committed to continuing my care so I can stay comfortable and happy.<br/><br/>What Im really looking for...<br/>A kind, patient home. Someone who sees the beauty in a senior dog. Someone who will save me a spot on the couch and in their heart.<br/><br/>I have so many people rooting for me, and I know my perfect home is out there.
