Ive been with my current family for almost a year since they adopted me from Monroe county dog shelter. Unfortunately this breaks their hearts but due to unfortunate circumstances they are unable to keep me at no fault of my own. I am approximately 5 years old and weigh almost 82 lbs. I love kids!! My human brothers I have been living with are ages 8 and 10. I also have 2 brothers who are cats and we get along great!! However not at first... because my owners did not do a proper introduction my cat brothers attacked me and I remembered that and thought it was game on but my humans put in the work to train me that that behavior wasnt tolerated. We get along great no issues. I am in perfect health!! My mom just took me to the vet and I received my distemper/parvo shot (good for 3 years) and also was tested for heart worm which was negative!! I have all my vet records!! I do have an allergy to chicken and beef so salmon works best. I currently am fed beneful salmon. I have been boarded with daycare included at Marcies in west Salem and I do awesome!! I love my other dog friends!! I do have separation anxiety but with time I get better. I do not like fireworks!! This scares me I love to play fetch because I love balls!! My humans do have me on the wait list with the shelter until theres a big kennel to open up for me... they have a couple months time frame left... I really would just like to find my furever home instead. Im playful yet really laid back and love to cuddle!! I need room to run yet would love to just snuggle with the whole family!! I come with my food, crate, toys, bed, elevated food/water bowl and food storage container. My owners are asking for a rehoming fee of $200 to ensure I go to a good home.
