He has lots of energy and enthusiasm, and while he can get a little overexcited when meeting people, he settles down with a bit of guidance and is eager to please.<br/>Because he has a strong prey drive, we recommend keeping him on leash while hiking in the bush. Buddy should be the only pet in the home and is best suited to a home without small children.<br/>When he's not out on an adventure, Buddy is a total cuddle bug. He loves snuggling on the couch, curling up on your lap, and if allowed, sleeping in bed with his people at night. <br/>He doesn't love being left alone for long periods but settles after a few minutes. Due to his high energy and athletic ability, he can jump onto barstools and counters and rearrange your kitchen items in record time! He also loves the doggy pool, especially on hot days, and a strong, long-lasting chew toy is a must.<br/>Medical Disclaimer: Buddy has hip dysplasia, but it doesn't slow him down.
