Meet Buddy <br/><br/>Buddy has been through something incredibly heartbreaking. He was found dumped alongside his sister, trying to survive on their own. Kind strangers stepped in to help, but when they returned to rescue them, his sister had sadly passed away.<br/><br/>Since then, Buddy has held onto a little lamb chop toy that reminds him of her. He gently squeaks it over and over, almost as if he’s checking to make sure it’s still there. It’s both touching and a reminder of how much love this little boy carries.<br/><br/>Buddy is now safe in a loving foster home in Manteca, California. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, and is both dog-friendly and people-friendly. He appears to be a rat terrier mix with the sweetest eyes and a gentle soul. Possibly about 4 years old or so.<br/><br/>Buddy deserves a home where he can feel safe, loved, and never alone again.
