BUDDY's Story

Buddy is looking for his next best friend 5-year-old Buddy has that familiar face that feels like an old friend of PAC’s—easygoing, gentle, and just a little unsure as he figures out where he fits next. He was found as a stray in Lake St. Louis, and while he’s been through some uncertainty, he’s now ready to settle into a home that will help him feel safe and confident again. Buddy is: Potty trained Walks well on leash Loves to chase the ball (but don’t expect a return—fetch is still a work in progress ) Enjoys exploring and taking in his surroundings He can be a little nervous when first meeting new people or entering new environments, so he’ll do best in a patient, calm home that allows him time to adjust at his own pace. A fenced yard is recommended so he can safely explore and build confidence. Underneath the nerves is a sweet, steady boy who just needs someone willing to give him the time to trust again. Once he does, Buddy is the kind of dog who feels like he’s always been part of your life.
