<B>BUDDY HAS A NEW HOME WHERE HE WILL BE SPOILED ROTTEN!</B><BR><BR><br/>Buddy is a playful purebred salt & pepper male miniature schnauzer. He is one of a group of schnauzers rescued from a puppy mill in the Midwest when the mill was ordered to reduce its dog population. Buddy is 7 years old and slightly taller than the average mini schnauzer. He is shy but loves to play with toys and other dogs. He is very easy-going and would do well in a home with other pets, but small children would frighten him. He has an excellent disposition and likes to jump on you when you baby-talk him. Buddy is food-motivated so he should be pretty easy to train – he is already housebroken. He has no idea how to walk on a leash and would do best with a fenced yard. He will run off if given the opportunity and will need time to learn to trust. Buddy is a good example of why to <I>never</I> buy a puppy from a pet store. The poor boy was forced to live his life in a tiny cage, existing solely to make puppies for the pet shops. If not for a stroke of good luck, he would be there still, never knowing love or the freedom to run and play.<BR> <br/>Buddy is on flea and heartworm preventative and has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, had a dental cleaning, was wormed, tested for heartworms and brucellosis, groomed, and evaluated in foster care.
