Buddy's Story

Buddy is neutered and microchipped and needs a home where he is the only pet. He was attacked in the past by a dog and lost part of one ear. Dogs make him nervous but he is okay on walks. He does bark a lot at cats on walks so a cat free home is probably best. Buddy is very attached to and loves his people. He would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time. Children 7+ are best as he loves chasing kids grabbing their pants. He could probably be trained to stop that behavior but currently does not live with young children so training can't begin.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
Please visit our website www.beaglerescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.
