Buddy's Story

This adorable Yorkie boy was a much loved indoor companion until his person was no longer able to care for him. Because Buddy's original owner was elderly and in failing health, she wasn't able to get him outside consistently or set good boundaries. His foster home worked hard to get him dialed in and he did great. With consistency and leadership he became beautifully house trained and much more well trained and adaptable. Unfortunately, in his adoptive home, without the guidance he needed, he regressed and was returned. He will thrive in a home with boundaries and leadership to set him up to win.

Buddy just turned two years old in July and he weighs about 12 pounds. He was originally purchased as a puppy as a Yorkie, but his size and coat appear more Silky Terrier. Regardless, he's a cutie, friendly with people and other dogs and even greeted resident kitty, Elmo, nicely on arrival.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
