Meet Buddy! <br/><br/>Its amazing what we can learn from foster homes. Once dogs leave the shelter environment and settle into a home, their true personalities often begin to shine. Thats exactly whats happened Buddy.<br/><br/> Very smart and highly trainable<br/> Active and energetic<br/> Loves being outside<br/> Enjoys snuggling on the couch with his people<br/> Knows several basic commands and is learning more every day<br/> Walks well on a leash and continues to work on his manners<br/> Understands no and responds well to clear boundaries<br/> Loves having a job, especially keeping watch over squirrels and birds in the yard<br/> Loyal and protective of his person<br/><br/>Buddy is thriving with structure, consistency, and a confident handler. He would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide calm leadership and help him continue building on all the progress hes made. While he can be a little stubborn and feisty at times, his foster says its very manageable and simply part of his personality.<br/><br/>His foster also believes he may be some type of Border Collie mix rather than a Chihuahua mix, and honestly, we can definitely see the intelligence and drive!<br/><br/>We are so grateful to Buddys foster family for helping us learn more about him and showing us just how much potential this special little guy has.
