Confused and heartbroken, Buddy suddenly lost everything he knew. But what nobody realized was that he wasn't just emotionally hurting, he was also living with significant physical pain.<br/><br/>When Buddy entered rescue, we quickly discovered he needed specialized surgery. Thanks to his incredible foster family, who immediately recognized that he deserved relief and a chance at a better life, Buddy was seen by a specialist and underwent the procedure he desperately needed. Today, we're thrilled to say that Buddy is feeling so much better and can finally enjoy life without the pain he endured for far too long.<br/><br/>Now that he's healthy, Buddy's true personality shines brighter than ever. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
