Buddy's Story

Buddy is a 4 yr. old maltese/shihtzu mix looking for a forever home where he can thrive. This great little guy is the perfect balance between playfulness and professional sleeper, making him an ideal companion for someone who is looking for energy and calm. He loves spending time outdoors so a home with a fenced in yard is what we are looing for, so he is able to romp around safely. He gets along well with other dogs so he would love a canine "buddy" to play and snuggle with. Here's the important part, so Buddy finds the perfect home! He needs an ADULT ONLY home, experienced in resource guarding who is open to working with a trainer and behaviorist so Buddy can be understood, and all can live in Harmony. This is something that is common in dogs and can be managed. A strong confident person who will set boundaries for buddy, which includes keeping him OFF furniture like sofa and beds. Buddy truly is a love and needs all the support he can get to find his perfect "forever" home. Please only put in an application if you are able to give Buddy the structure and understanding he needs.

Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application. https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.
