Buddy is a 4 yr. old maltese/shihtzu mix looking for a forever home where he can thrive. This litle guy is a "work in progres". He can be great or he may snap at another dog in the home when they pass by or when he's asleep or with a toy. Buddy can be loving when he wants to! So Buddy is good when he wants to be, on his own terms, and he's not going to be your cuddle bunny. He will play with other dogs, when he wants. He will also guard his people, and when his foster Mom leaves the house he's not to happy about it so will go after her feet! So this is Buddy, the cute little fluffy guy, but read carefully... AND Here's the important part, so Buddy finds the perfect home! He needs an ADULT ONLY home, experienced in resource guarding who is open to working with a trainer and behaviorist so Buddy can be understood, and all can live in Harmony. This is something that is common in dogs and can be managed. A strong confident person who will set boundaries for buddy, which includes keeping him OFF furniture like sofa and beds. Buddy truly is a love and needs all the support he can get to find his perfect "forever" home.
