Buddy #2501's Story

Hi, I am Buddy, and this is what my foster mom wants you to know about me!

Daily Routine: Buddy loves breakfast! Then it's time for a nap. He loves going for a walk but does pull on the leash. He is always happy. After dinner there is about two minutes of zoomies, then its time for a nap.

What I love to do: Buddy loves walks, stuffie toys and Benebones. I think he would enjoy another canine pal to play with, but he is fine entertaining himself.

Personal goals: He needs work on the leash. There is just so much to smell, he can't help himself.

Favorite thing to do with my best friend: Buddy is on the submissive side. He gets along fine with other dogs. He has has no exposure to cats in foster care, however his former owner said he does not like them.

Kind of family I want: Buddy would do great with any kind of family. He loves to snuggle/sit on your lap. Small children could get knocked over as he tends to jump up/counter surf and he is a tank. Buddy is completely housetrained and can be left loose in the house. He does tend to counter surf, however. Also, he loves to tear up paper and cardboard.

Biggest fears: No fears identified.

Ideal weekend plans: Buddy is a happy boy and would enjoy any time spent with his humans, doing activities or nothing at all. He enjoys couch time.

To apply to adopt Buddy, please fill out the application under the "Adoption" heading at www.bassetbuddiesrescue.org where you can also find other information about the adoption process.

Basset Buddies Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c )(3) not-for-profit organization and all donations are used expressly for the welfare of the dogs and most are tax deductible (please contact your tax adviser for more information).
