Buddy's Story

Meet Buddy!

Buddy is a happy, playful Boston Terrier between 4 to 5 years old and weighing 21 pounds. His journey to rescue began when he was found as a stray in Burbank, Washington. Thankfully, a kind person brought him to Tri-Cities Animal Services, and from there Boston Terrier Rescue of Western Washington (BTRWW) welcomed him into their care. Buddy is currently thriving in a foster home in Pasco, WA.

Because Buddy was a stray, there is little known about his first few years. What we do know is that he’s a wonderful dog with a lot of personality and love to give. Buddy is now neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has had his nares surgically opened, helping him breathe more comfortably.

Buddy is very playful and has a fun, puppy-like spirit. He walks well on a leash, enjoys running around the yard, going for walks, and riding in the car. At home, he loves snuggling under blankets and chewing on elk antlers and toys. He isn’t a big barker and genuinely enjoys being around people.

Buddy is crate trained but will need some continued guidance with house manners. When he gets excited, he can be a bit mouthy, and he may occasionally chew on items that aren’t his. He does best as the only male dog in the home; female dogs are fine, but Buddy is not a fan of other male dogs.

Buddy’s ideal home would include a secure, fenced yard, a family who will include him in daily activities, and someone with the time and energy to help him continue learning. He would benefit greatly from an obedience class, where he and his new family can grow together. If you’re ready to welcome a smart, affectionate, and joyful companion into your life, Buddy may be the perfect match. He truly has a lot of love to give and is patiently waiting for his forever home.

To apply to adopt Buddy, please visit www.btrww.org
1. click on Adopt
2. print and complete an application
3. email it to btrww23@gmail.com

If you’re unable to adopt but would like to help, donations and sharing his story are greatly appreciated.

Buddy’s adoption fee is $450.

Only approved applicants living in the Pacific Northwest will be considered for adoption.
